Spiceheads -I am in need of assistance as a i am banging my head with this and getting no where.
Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Photo Viewer are installed on all our Windows 10 workstations & laptops - so we have alternatives that DON'T cause the print queue(s) to hang. Meanwhile, I suppose everyone is doing what we have chosen to do: simply have users NOT use the Microsoft programs that Perhaps they would put a little more effort into it if they knew how widespread the problem is. I recommend that everyone raise the issue in a case with Canon support, because it's clearly a problem that they are not sufficiently motivated to resolve. We started a case with Canon, but they only very rarely contacted us over the last couple of months (and not recently) to ask a few questions - most of which had been answered previously, indicating they weren't really working on it and/or didn't know what to do (and/or don't much care). And Canon printer drivers - or, more likely, the interaction of DIAS with the Canon printer driver(s) - especially (and perhaps solely) with Canon's color printers.
